NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Greene County, Ohio, 35 Greene Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385, until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 29 2023, for WTP Membrane Concentrate Discharge Line, for the Greene County Sanitary Engineering Department. At such time the bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. This legal advertisement is also published on the Greene County Board of County Commissioners website, http://www.greenecountyohio.gov/bids.aspx.
The Project consists of one prime contract for construction of approximately 8,700 linear feet of 10-inch HDPE membrane concentrate discharge piping from the Northwest Regional Water Treatment Plant to the intersection of US 35 and Factory Road. The Project also consists of approximately 1,400 linear feet of Horizontal Directional Drill of 10-inch HDPE under the Little Beavercreek and approximately 240 linear feet of Jacking and Boring 20-inch steel casing with 10-inch HDPE carrier pipe under Dayton-Xenia Road.
Copies of the Plans and Specifications, the estimated quantities of the items of work, the proposal and contract forms can be downloaded at the Bid Express website https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations and are on file in the Greene County Sanitary Engineering Department, 667 Dayton-Xenia Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385.

ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE – $ 3,400,000.00
Bids shall be submitted electronically via Bid Express https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations per Instructions to Bidders, Specification Section 00100 or if submitted via hard copy the Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as “WTP Membrane Concentrate Discharge Line, PN: 2006SA” and must have full name and address of the Bidder on the envelope.
The Board of County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County.
