Wanted to confirm this job is PW job?

Also the note stating "Note: Plants currently available as of 10/13/2023 from a local wholesale source. No substitutions are desired. Any proposed substitutions must be proposed and approved in writing."

I wanted to clarify that the material was not provided and that we didn't have to use a specific vendor? I know that bid says for all labor, materials, etc, etc. but this line threw me off so wanted to check, thank you!
Answer

Yes, it is confirmed that this is a prevailing wage job; not because we expect the cost to be that high as a standalone project, but because it is part of a larger capital improvement project that requires prevailing wage.


Contractor must source and purchase all plant material from a vendor of their choosing. The note about a local vendor was included to demonstrate that plant material should still be available this time of year.
