The City of Athens, Ohio invites proposals for Fire Hose for use by the Athens Fire Department. Proposals from qualified providers are due no later than 11:00 AM on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Athens City Hall, 8 E. Washington Street, Athens, OH, 45701.

Any response received after the time and date specified, prepared or submitted, shall not be eligible for consideration. Respondents are cautioned to write all descriptions and monetary amounts clearly, so there is no doubt as to the intent and scope of the response. Erasures and other changes in the response must bear the signature or initials of the respondent. ALL RFP RESPONSES MUST BE SIGNED.
Failure to provide this information may result in rejection of the response. The city reserves the right to reject any response not prepared and submitted according to the provisions herein outlined, and may reject any or all responses. The respondent will be required to state in full detail on his/her proposal his/her experience in this class of work, and proposals from providers inexperienced in this particular class of work will not be considered. The work shall commence upon written notice of award by the City of Athens. All materials must have a guaranteed delivery date of no later than 120 days of award.
The City of Athens reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to waive informalities as may be in its best interest.
