LEGAL NOTICE

The Fulton County Commissioners will receive bids for the DITCH NO. 2148, TILE BRANCH 4d TURKEYFOOT CREEK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT, in their office at 152 South Fulton Street, in Wauseon, Ohio until 9:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 24, 2023. At approximately 9:01 A.M. bids will be opened and read aloud. This drainage improvement project consists of the installation of 980 L.F. of 12-Inch and 350 L.F. of 15-inch HDPE smooth lined pipe, 845 L.F. of 12-inch PVC solid wall pipe and appurtenances in the NE quarter of Section 7, T7N, R7E, in York Township, Fulton County, Ohio, just northeast of the City of Wauseon.

The project is being completed through the drainage improvement provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 6131. The Engineer’s Estimate is $103,397.00. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, each bidder shall be required to file with their bid one of the following options:

1. A bond Providing for the Bid Guaranty and the Contract Bond in the full amount of the bid, or,

2. A Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. The amount of the Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or Letter of Credit shall equal ten percent (10%) of the bid. If this option is used, a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of t
