Sealed proposals will be received until 12 o’clock noon on Friday, November 3, 2023 by electronic bid only for the following project: MIA-41-10.32: West Main Street Improvements Phase 2 (PID 110253), in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City of Troy, Ohio.
The electronic bidding will be handled through the Bid Express service at
www.bidexpress.com
. Bidder must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation the bidder intends to bid electronically prior to bidding.
This project consists of the widening of SR41, reconstructing the sidewalk and curb lawn, replacing a traffic signal and improving the stormwater system along the corridor for a length of 0.80 miles between I-75 and Ridge Avenue.
All Contractors and Subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project.
Bidders must comply with Davis Bacon federal prevailing wage rates, submit evident of his experience on projects of similar size and complexity and be ODOT prequalified.
A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into:

A bid bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio, or
-
A certified check, a cashiers’ check, an Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio.
The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best and lowest bid submitted. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
