ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1. RECEIPT OF BIDS
Bids will be received at Loveland City Hall Building at 120 W Loveland Avenue, Loveland, Ohio 45140 until 2:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at which time the bids will be opened publicly for:
City of Loveland – Parking Lot Improvements – 200 1st Street - Loveland, Ohio 45140
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, apparatus, expendable tools and equipment, and other services required
for completion of the work. This Bid Package contains only one General Contract. All work shown within the contract
documents will be performed under a single contract.
The Contractor will be responsible for the work as indicated in the contract documents, as well as coordinating with the
Owner and other Contractors working on the project. The Contractor is responsible for making themselves familiar with
all existing conditions.
The Contract Documents may be viewed online or purchased from ARC Document Solutions, 4219 Malsbary Road,

2. PRE–BID MEETING
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site on January 4, 2024 at 9:00 A.M.
3. GENERAL BID REQUIREMENTS
To be responsive, all bids must be in strict conformance with the Contract Documents.
4. REJECTION OF BIDS
The Owner expressly reserves the right to reject any bids, to judge the character and sufficiency of the work offered by
the bidders, and to judge the ability of any bidder to perform the work in a proper manner.
5. EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF BIDS
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of opening thereof.
6. BONDING REQUIREMENTS
Bids must be signed and submitted on separate bidding forms included in the bidding documents, sealed in a properly
identified envelope, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount
or a certified check, cashier’s check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid,
subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bond should include the cost for Alternates to the
greatest total cost of the project.
This project will comply with all the guidelines for prevailing wage rates established by the Department of Industrial
Relations of the State of Ohio. This project is tax exempt.
A Performance Bond is also required.
