The Government is planning to issue a single construction contract solicitation (Design Bid Build) for the construction of a New Main Gate for Youngstown Air Reserve Station. This solicitation will be a small business set aside.



The project includes construction of a new main gate complex for security forces to meet all anti-terrorism standards AFI 10-245. The complex includes roadways with speed / directional controls, guard house, overlook facility, vehicle inspection bay, alternate inspection point, single delivery facility, and a visitor center.



The government recently completed the purchase of 40 acres of land for this project to meet all anti-terrorism standards.



The government intends to officially advertise for this project in March 2023 for award by June 2023.



This posting will be updated to include the Industry Day Presentation following completion of the industry day conference.
