Description

The purpose of this sources sought synopsis (SSS) is to solicit feedback from the marketplace on specific companies’ ability to meet the United States Air Force’s (USAF’s) requirement for C-130H Avionics Modernization Program Increment 2 (AMP Inc 2) kit production and fielding. Contract number FA8625-19-C-9000 was awarded in 2019 and was intended to satisfy the USAF’s C-130H AMP Inc 2 requirement in its entirety, including development, production, installation, and all necessary support to field the modified aircraft. However, delayed development resulted in a changed production landscape. As a result, it may be necessary for the USAF to either award a new contract for AMP Inc 2 production/fielding. The responses to this SSS will aid the USAF in that decision-making process.



This SSS is a request for information (RFI) and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP). Any responses are submitted voluntarily, and the USAF will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of the responses.
