PURPOSE:
The purpose of this sources sought synopsis (SSS) is to solicit feedback from the marketplace on specific companies’ ability to meet the United States Air Force’s (USAF’s) requirement for the Commercial Aircraft Acquisition and Sustainment Team (CAAST). The responses to this SSS will aid the USAF in that decision-making process on its next steps towards pursuing an IDIQ.
This SSS is a request for information (RFI) and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP). Any responses are submitted voluntarily, and the USAF will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of the responses.

DESCRIPTION:
The United States Air Force (USAF) has a requirement to acquire and sustain aircraft from a diverse and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer base. Among the types of requirements that will be addressed via this IDIQ is:
- Acquisition of Aircraft
- Sustainment and Contractor/Integrated Logistics Support on site and/or remote
- Repair of equipment
- Fulfillment of Spares and Support Equipment
- Provision of Tech publications and Manuals
- Part Obsolescence Management
- Over and Above order specific requirements
