Ohio University is seeking proposals to identify and select a learning management system (LMS) vendor(s) to support the University’s teaching and learning activities. Due the increased use of online teaching and learning activities since 2020, an evaluation of LMS vendors is necessary to ensure the best environment for Ohio University students, faculty, and staff.

Might the request for HECVAT 3.2 be a typo? We use the following site to download HECVAT templates: https://library.educause.edu/resources/2020/4/higher-education-community-vendor-assessment-toolkit - this is EDUCAUSE site.

The latest version they have is 3.03 (which we have). Can you clarify, please?
Answer This is a typo, It is version 3.02 or higher. This will be corrected through an addendum

14. About the Technical requirement: 2. Support for real time integrations - can you please provide more information about this requirement? What would be a real time integration?
Answer A real time integration would mean that changes to the PeopleSoft system are updated in the LMS within 15 minutes of that SIS change.

13. Can you please detail the Functional Requirement no. 14? Faculty and staff-facing dashboard for course leaders - can you give us an example of how the dashboard will be?
Answer Summarize the information presented to individual students and faculty about their courses, including past or future behaviors. For example, describe how students' progress or upcoming requirements are summarized and/or displayed to students in a dashboard or other reporting context. For faculty, describe how a summary and/or dashboard of their instructional activity is presented to them.

9. Can you please clarify the following:

Intended contract start date
On page 2 of the RFP, it states “Ohio University prefers a 3-year agreement with two 1-year renewals” however on page 14 it states “The initial term of the Agreement shall be for eight (8) years from 2025 through 2033, with options
to extend.”
Answer Please reference the term in the Period of Agreement section; the term specified in the Pricing Submission was incorrect and we will issue an addendum to address the discrepancy
