The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District has a need for a Requirements Contract for Building and Grounds Maintenance Services at Mosquito Creek Dam. Mosquito Creek is located in Bazetta Township, Ohio near the center of Trumbull County. Although the fee-owned property of Mosquito Creek Lake totals 11,486 acres spanning across three townships, the USACE managed facilities and recreational areas are limited to the lands surrounding the dam and outflow area, including the project offices and the Corps managed boat launch. These areas are known as the Resource Manager’s Office, Tailwater Recreation Area, Mosquito Picnic Area, Lakeview Recreation Area (including the Lakeview Nature Trail), State Route 305 Boat Launch, and Mosquito Creek Dam Recreation Area along with the maintenance complex and offices. The Corps managed property contains one public flush restroom, three public vault restrooms, a pavilion, a fishing pier, an observation deck, a boat launch, two-disc golf courses, a nature trail, and a variety of constructed habitat including gardens, apiaries, and man-made wildlife shelters

An overview of the services required includes, but is not limited to: grass mowing, landscaping, janitorial services, solid waste and raw sewage removal, and pesticide application in accordance with procedures established in the Performance Work Statement which will be provided with the solicitation. The contractor is required to furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies,

The solicitation number is W911WN23Q3002 and will be issued as an Request for Quote (RFQ). This procurement will be set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 561730,

Landscaping Services and the Small Business size is $8 million dollars. The anticipated base period of performance will be from 1 January 2022or date of Award to 30 September 2023, with four (4) one-year option periods if exercised by the government. The total contract term including the exercise of any options, will not exceed 5 years 6 months.

The government pre-quote site visit is scheduled for Monday, 21 November 2022 at 0930 a.m. ET.

All *responsible offerors are encouraged to participate. The Request for quote will be issued in the near future, online through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the solicitation package will not be honored.

In order to submit a Bid on this project, your company must –
