Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for a new Job Order N0016423FW028 for engineering services associated with the Joint Tactical Terminal – Receiver (JTT-R), in support of the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Fleet Support Team (FST).

The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, DRS Advanced ISR LLC. 2601 Mission Point Blvd, Ste 250 Beavercreek, OH 45431-6600, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A).This is being sole sourced because no other source other than DRS currently has the requisite knowledge and experience to satisfy the agency’s requirements. Utilizing another source would result in significant duplication of costs and time delay.

The proposed contract action is under the North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 541330 – Engineering Services. The period of performance is expected to be three years from December 2022. The primary place of performance will be at the contractor facility.

A formal solicitation will not be posted to the https://www.sam.gov website. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
