Description

Harshaw RA - The USACE has a requirement under the FUSRAP to remediate the Harshaw FUSRAP Site in Cleveland, OH. Contaminants of concern are characterized as low activity radioactive waste (LARW) or as low activity comingled waste (LACW). Impacted soils will be excavated to achieve cleanup goals for recreational use by the critical group for these FUSRAP-related constituents of concern. This critical group has been identified as the adult resident and construction worker for the Harshaw Chemical Site and cleanup goals were established in the 2021Record of Decision for Operable Units 1 and 2, Harshaw Chemical Site, Cleveland, OH.



Site Visit April 5, 2023, at 1300 (1:00 pm ET)
